International Young Patrons Gala 2025
Platform Members, Roadshow
Following the performance, guests mingled at a festive after-party in the foyer - with DJ sets, video installations, refreshments, and the chance to dance - while immersing themselves in the gala's Renaissance theme, encouraging creative reinterpretation of tradition.
This annual event is the highlight of the Young Patrons Circle, an international network of young professionals and creatives who support the institution through donations and engage in exclusive, year-round behind-the-scenes experiences. The gala not only spotlights the rising stars of Dutch opera and ballet but also offers patrons unique access - from backstage tours to special events such as the afterparty and networking with artists. By attending, members contribute directly to talent development initiatives like the Dutch National Opera Studio and the Junior Company.
Dutch National Opera & Ballet is a relatively young theater with a long history. As early as 1915, the construction of a new city hall and opera house was on the agenda of the Amsterdam City Council.
